Creativity, Confidence and a Place to Belong
ArtHouse Northampton is a welcoming art school offering drawing and painting classes for children aged 6+ and adults.
We provide a calm, supportive space where every student can explore their creativity, develop artistic skills and grow in confidence. Our mixed-age groups bring students together, while individual guidance allows everyone to progress at their own pace.
At ArtHouse, there is no single “right” way to create. Every idea, perspective and artistic style is valued.
Our Story
ArtHouse Northampton was founded in 2021 with a simple belief: everyone can create.
We wanted to build more than an art school. We wanted to create a place where children and adults could feel at home, express themselves freely and discover confidence through art.
From the beginning, we have focused on quality rather than quantity. Although students learn together in mixed-age groups, we take time to understand and support each person individually. Everyone arrives with different experiences, abilities and ideas, so we encourage students to develop in their own way and at their own pace.
Some of our most meaningful moments begin with a student saying, “I can’t do it.” With encouragement, patience and the freedom to experiment, that uncertainty gradually becomes confidence—and eventually pride in something they have created themselves.
Since 2021, ArtHouse has continued to learn and grow, slowly but strongly. Our purpose remains the same: to provide a warm and inspiring creative home where every student feels supported, capable and proud to be different.
